Inokashira Nature Park

In addition to the “Touch Corner” where you can directly touch guinea pigs, there is a sculpture garden and a sports land that is very popular with small children.

Tama Zoological Park

This is the closest animal park to a natural environment where animals and insects from around the world live freely in the vast 52.3 hectares of the park.

Ueno Zoo

Hamura City Animal Park

The zoo opened in 1978 as Japan’s first town-run zoo. The attraction of the zoo is that visitors can freely interact with a variety of animals, including chicks, guinea pigs, iguanas, a 70-cm-long land tortoise, and a red-crowned crane, a special natural treasure. In addition to the animal area including a savanna garden where five kinds of animals such as giraffes and zebras live together, there is a natural forest of Musashino, a picnic area and a lawn square where a SL train is placed. The park is flat and can be visited without difficulty even by infants.
