Shinjuku Central Park, also known as Chuo Park is located directly behind the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building as seen from Shinjuku Station.
The park was developed on the site of the Konishiroku Photo Industry (now Konica Minolta) factory and the Yodobashi Water Filtration Plant, and is now used as a recreational area for office workers and others.
Shinjuku Niagara Falls is the symbol of the park.
