Kabukicho is an entertainment district where many movie theaters and theaters were built in the postwar reconstruction plan, but now it is crowded with taverns, restaurants, and adult entertainment establishments.
The name “Kabukicho” was given to the area in an attempt to attract Kabuki theaters, but the attempt failed and only the name remains.
